Parts for Semi-Trailer Tractors

Semi-trailer tractor is very widely used in our life. It is mainly used for cargo transportation including standard containers, tarp containers, car haulers, etc. The semi-Trailer tractor can be flexibly modified and commissioned as per the owners' needs.

There are four major purchased parts for semi-trailers: Traction Pins, Axles, Tires and Legs.

- Traction Pins:

Traction pins have two types: welded and assembled. 

The normal sizes are: 50# and 90#.

- Axles:

Divided by tonnage: 10 tons, 12 tons, 13 tons, 15 tons, 16 tons, etc. 

Divided by width: normal axis and widened axis.

Semi-trailer tractors can be retrofitted according to actual conditions, and axles can be replaced when large cargo need to be transported and need overloads.

- Tyres:

Tyres can be divided into various types, such as wire tires, nylon tires, and vacuum tires. The sizes are 8.25 series and 9.0 series.

- Legs:

Legs or outriggers have two types: linkage type and single-action type. Both work importantly for safety and stability.
